Naval Strategic Forces Command

Naval War College
The Commander-in-Chief of the Pakistan Army, General Qamar Javed Bajwa, has hailed the achievements of the Pakistan Navy, visiting the Naval War College in Rawalpindi to lay floral wreaths. During the visit, COAS addressed the 49th Naval Staff Course at the college. COAS Bajwa focused his speech on the geo-strategic environment, security challenges, and opportunities for Pakistan.
The PN War College is one of the highest education institutions of the Pakistan Navy. It is the highest seat of learning in the Pakistan Navy and has developed into a center of excellence for maritime studies. The college was established in 1968, as the Pakistan Navy Staff School, teaching officers elementary staff work. In 1970, the school was relocated to Karsaz, Karachi, and upgraded to the PN Staff College. On 6 May 1971, the college hosted its first course, which was a three-week training program.
